furthermore, there's so much wrong/against the rules, with what you proposed, I don't even know where to begin...
-
Can a mod please delete these threads until THIS years playoffs are done?
-
^ this.
-
come on, don't be ridiculous... it's funny and all, but I don't think anyone wants Al in jail for an off-ice assault, because yes, that's what it would be if it did not occur on the ice... Ericsson Cleary Sobotka Samuelsson should sucker punch Pronger. Now it's REALLY fixed
-
absolute disgrace and a joke by the league...
-
see, I don't think that would necessarily be the best, Murph is good enough and all, but I think he makes a better analyst than a color guy... now I'm not saying Mac is the answer, but I think you need someone with more flair in their persona and more passion for a color guy...

I don't care what anyone says, that was hands down the toughest, grittiest game the son-of-a-b has played these playoffs and even though he lost (handedly) to Beauchemin, the fact that he even stood up and actually fought, gets HIGH praises in my book, especially since we exchanged a 4th liner for one of their top 4 d-men for a nice 5 minute sit down, with less than 9 minutes left and the Ducks down 2 goals... Kopecky -
-
here, let me give you a transcript of the play by play ahead of time "Holmstrom crosses over center ice... and there's a penalty being called - goaltender interference from the blue line"
-
I think we can all agree that those top 2 lines should not be split up again! The chemistry is insane and with Flip playing OUT OF HIS MIND, he deserves to stay top 2
-
here it is! it was in agreement, but only because Wombat beat me to it - he should get credit too for calling the lines EXACTLY as they were last night! Here it is
-
thank you sir! that was actually at the beginning of the playoffs though.... I made one just after game 2 with the exact lines he rolled last night (at least for forward) I just cant find it... but yes, I've been advocating ZDH, Hoss-Flip-Franzen all along :beerbuddy:
-
um... not only did I say Hossa-Flip-Franzen, I called those EXACT lines he was rolling last night... does anyone know how to search through old threads by the way, other than just clicking through them all, I want to find a link to this...
-
all he needs is more balance and strength... not like those are big deals though, haha seriously though, agreed.
-
that was the only downside, he really did get his butt handed to him, but it's the effort that matters the most and the courage, from a guy who for the most part, has been lacking it this year
-
If anything, I disagree that the timing was anything BUT good... Pronger and Neidemayer had JUST gotten done with a shift and Beauchemin just got on, after the fight they were short and the tired D-men had to go right back out there.... plus, we're not a young, inexperienced team, losing a fight like that doesn't swing momentum, if anything, it raises ours because his teammates realize what he just did - swap a 4th liner for a top 4 d-man with a relatively close lead at that point... did they score again? I think that says it all.
-
I always thought he was a hard hitting, tough player, but to call Holmstrom gutless is a joke, especially for a guy who has been known to "bend the rules" a bit with his playing style... I'll still always like him a little for what he did to Tootoo, but these comments are an f'ing joke
-
there, fixed that for you and yes, I agree
-
these were the EXACT lines I've been screaming for! VALIDATION!!!!!
-
He hid the left wrist at all cost on the FSN broadcast the other night, and my conspiracy theory, is because he had a cast on it... that's my prediction... maybe not a break, but a left wrist injury
-
the weirdest part of it all, is that the elbow to the face didn't hurt his lung, the shot did, so I don't even know why he's crying... he's not out from the elbow to the face...
-
I agree... I would put money on it he'll be back by 6, maybe 5 if we don't take care of business tonight
-
thanks for the link, I probably should have included that, haha :beerbuddy:
-
some things we do not joke about.....
-
you play hurt, when it doesn't hurt the team... a guy with a bad back, or a torn tendon, hurts the team more than they help... Rafalski is always been a pretty big trooper, I gotta assume it's a big one...
