I don't think it will happen there because of the money Illitch can make by it being at Comerica, but it would be cool to have it in such a large venue... With that said, one thing that really perplexed me about the last few Winter Classics, is why they don't roll out more bleacher style seats on the lower levels and add even more people.. obviously not in areas that would obstruct the view of others, but in areas where its raised and then a decent drop before the surface anyway (like up against a wall in a ballpark, which is raised for HR purposes) Just a thought...

me too, I think he's been used poorly in St. Louis and still has a TON of upside, I think this change of scenery is going to be huge for him and this trade will end up becoming a HUGE steal for TB... with that said, does anyone have any news on what's going back the other way to St. Louis?

My thoughts exactly, the odds are more likely of him being a rental in Boston than anything with the players they have coming up on FA that they need to retain and with the up and coming D-men they have in their system... Burke needs to use Vancouver's poor luck to his advantage right now and unload that Lebda contract for ANYTHING, even if that is a 7th rd pick in 2025, gets rid of dead money and Van might actually make that deal right now with how thin they are...
