I never said Mursak, but I still feel he'd be a reasonable piece... Defensemen generally don't develop as fast either, and Kindl made great strides each year in GR (look at his +/- and how it improved considerably each year), also, as I already touched on, I feel Kindl's style better fits in Calgary's system and JBo's style here... Win-win Picks/prospects/4th liner piece, feel free to adjust as you like...

How is that scraps? Kindl is a 1st rd pick, that still has a LOT of upside and is only 25, add that to a legit 4th liner for depth and another draft pick?! also the fact that Calgary wants the cap space cleared and it adds up... It'd be a win-win deal

He blocks a ton of shots and is very solid defensively, even if if Jurcina isn't as physical as he should be for his size, he's still a solid shut down dman... probably a little better defensively than Vandermeer to be honest, but Vandermeer's still very solid defensively, and that additional physical edge is what makes me prefer him... Just as good, if not a little better than Commie, he's a little faster too... he's not the best shut down dman of all time, but still very solid

Monty has a big contract though and still a few years left... don't know if that's worth it... I'd rather sign Vandermeer or Jurcina (preferably Vandermeer) as our 6/7 There's no way Fil would be traded for this - as I said earlier, JBo could be had for a relatively low price, that's part of the intrigue of getting him... I wouldn't be surprised at all if he could be had for Kindl, Emmerton and a pick...

Agreed completely, that would be a very big improvement! I think Kindl still has a ton of upside, and I think it would benefit him too for a new opportunity and I think he'd fit in Calgary's run and gun system better than our puck possession system and I think JBo, just the opposite... In the long run, I think it'd be win-win situation

You should be able to get Bo for the likes of Kindl, Mursak (or Emmerton or Miller) and a pick... Calgary wants to unload him, and the cap relief is part of the deal... That's part of the reason he's so intriguing to me, low cost...
