Now, let the games begin.

I'm a UM fan til I die, but it's good to see a team from the CCHA win the championship. Props to the Spartans.

He's resting. I'm not going to worry when he misses a game against Chicago. Come playoffs and he misses one game? Then I'll worry.

Detroit supports its sports in general. It doesn't matter who's selling the most merch, people are still generally interested in all four teams year round.

That was such a dissappointment. It's dumb because the Philly/Pitts game wasn't blacked out on Center Ice, but the Detroit/Colorado game was. NBC shouldn't be able to make us watch the LA marathon just because we live here.

My dad and I go back and forth with the same discussion. Although my dad thinks that the Red Wings need someone with Bertuzzi's grit, he didn't think that Todd should have been playing in the league before Tuesday, so he doesn't want to change his opinion just because he's a Red Wing. Personally, I won't ever say that what he did was right, but at the same time it's in the past and like he said, it's for him to deal with, not Detroit.

Hahahaha. So true. I'll be studying abroad next semester, maybe it won't be too expensive to head to England and catch a game

It's good to see Smyth helping the team so quickly. I watched the Islander's pre-game (on FSNY), it's crazy to see how many different media people were following his every move all day long. He's gotta be so relieved to just be able to play the game.

San Jose scares me in the first round.

I bought tickets to see an Oilers game next week in Anaheim with the soul purpose of seeing Ryan Smyth play. I'm not too thrilled about this to say the least. People in Edmonton have to be pissed.

My college (club) team plays USC all the time. Club teams are usually players who just want to keep playing hockey cause they love it; talent isn't always a factor. The story about Meyer is pretty funny. I wonder if I'll ever see him play against my school again.

I'm ok with Tucker as a Wing. Don't really know if it'd happen or not, but why not. The Wings could use someone with grit who can also score.

Hey! I was heading from the 10 @ Rancho Cucamonga and didn't make it to the pre-game until they had about 1:30 left. It's the first pre-game that I've missed in years Stupid traffic... eventually I'll get used to it. Anyways, I saw you (although I didn't recognize anyone else) but it was too late to make it down to the boards (the ushers were being really lame). I think next game I'll leave at about 4:30.. which leaves 3 hours to go 60 miles. Next year I'll catch you guys at all ANA and LA games though. After going to a zillion games in San Jose, it's cool to recognize people at games and know them. Next year I'll be seeing you guys. (Unless Detroit plays ANA in the post-season...).

That's crazy, I always go to the pre-games anyways. In Oct I was right against the glass by the Wings bench... I've probably seen you before! hahaha

I'll be at the game in San Jose and LA, but I have a prior commitment for the Anaheim game. I'm in section 323 because I'm a poor college student.. haha. Were you all at the games in October too? I sort of took a 2 (or 3?) year break from LGW and didn't even think about seeing people from here. Anyways, my friend and I are leaving tomorrow morning for San Jose, I'm excited!

I just found out that my aunt got me Rose Bowl tickets. I will be there in my UM hoodie no doubt. (Even though my friends here at USC might jump me...)

I LOVE UCLA AT THE MOMENT.

San Jose fans! In all reality they're probably not that bad, but I (when living there) got sooooo sick of people (jokingly) making fun of my for liking hockey, and then all of the sudden the Sharks are in the playoffs and people are life-long fans of (insert player with most goals at the moment). It happens everywhere though, meh.
