Probably in the parking lot. Very interesting article, though, and it's the first I ever heard of any such offer. Is there any more to this article?

Is he on his period or something? Why are they doing press conferences just to tell people that he's still undecided? He must have Brett Favre Syndrome. He's had the whole summer to think about it.
-
The logo is still not as big as Malkin's head. In all seriousness, though, why'd they git rid of the yellow and replace it with a beige color. I'm frustrated about how teams always look for some new jersey designs, when they only have to look to the past to find better jerseys that they once wore.

espn is lazy and it sucks.
-
Canada might not have the best hockey team in the world, but when it comes to juniors, they're far and away better than anyone else.
-
In that case, Wayne Gretzky should have retired back in 1988, instead of going to Los Angeles. It's the hunger that keeps a player going, especially when he's still at his peak. I'm just surprised that he already seems to have lost that hunger, because plenty of players never lose it no matter what they've already accomplished.

Samuelsson and Hudler are about as lazy as you can get in your own zone now that Lang is gone.
-
Kenny Holland has to sit him down and explain to him that "team toughness" consists of not fighting, but skating away from the altercation so that only the other team picks up a penalty.
-
I still can't believe that at his age he's considering retirement, when he still has a chance to be one of the best players in the league for a number of years.
-
I don't think Lidstrom should have been our captain last year. Robert Lang was clearly most fit for the captaincy with his on ice leadership.
-
Anaheim won becuase they were a more clutch team than us at the end of games. Take the two big goals by Niedermayer and the overtime goal by Selanne, and then you'll see why we lost the series. Also, Hasek played poorly in the series as opposed to how he played the rest of the playoffs, and he was soundly outplayed by Giguere.
-
He could have made a great stickboy on our bench also.
-
Now if they'd only sign Hussey and Ellis, in order to reunite the best checking line in hockey. That would make up for all the personnel losses they had this offseason.
-
I sincerely hope that he does for them each and every thing that he did for us every time he was dressed to play.
-
No reason now for why the Sharks shouldn't win the Cup. This is the last missing piece in their puzzle.
-
At the risk of inciting a riot, I want to say that you guys are taking this logo thing way too seriously. All this poll represents is which team's fans have enough free time to get on the internet during classes and vote repeatadly for their favorite team's logo. Every knowledgable NHL fan knows that the Wings have a better logo than the Canucks, so who cares? In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if that stupid Canuck logo wins this whole tournament.
-
No way he ever plays for the Wings with Kenny around. We don't like guys who fight and throw punches, because it's not gentlemanly behavior.
-
Hudler is nothing without the great Robert Lang centering him.
-
Injuries and lack of 2nd line scoring is what I'm most afraid of. Also, when the playoffs begin, we've got to be a clutch team. We did that against Calgary and San Jose, but against Anaheim, we were horrible in the clutch.
-
I hope so, because a rented mule is a solid replacement for Langfeld, and it can also put up the same numbers.
-
Who said he was going to replace Shanny? Shanny scored 40 goals for us his last season in Detroit, which is more than Grigorenko can ever dream of. Besides, everybody knows that Samuelsson is the true Shanahan replacement with that awesome right-handed shot of his.
-
They need to bring back those sexy Golden Seals jerseys, or even the old North Stars' colors.
-
Bobby Orr?
-
Yeah right. I'm sure Oilers fans won't mind that at all.
-
The Rangers weakpoint is their defense, and they didn't address that at all in the offseason. As for Ottawa, they might be as good as last year, but I think that the Pens are ready to overtake them now.
