I already mentioned my stance. You're right, I probably wouldn't have wanted Olympia torn down decades ago. But like I said, the JLA is a unique modern day building because of how long it stood. Outside of the United Center, where Jordan played, I don't see any modern day NHL arena having that same kind of future and longevity. And why would I want cake if I wasn't going to eat it?

Well, that's sort of true. The Olympia stadium was a legendary stadium. The JLA is going to end up being around a long time and is legendary in its own right. However, the way things are going, I don't see many NHL buildings being used even for that long. So I don't think we'll see it again too often. Corporate suits want arenas built more frequently now to meet with demand.

As bad and goofy as the logo used to be, I like the green and purple color scheme they used when they moved to Phoenix. These colors they've used the last few years are used by 1/3 of the teams in the league and are boring. And yes, they added black, but now the color scheme is all jacked up. BTW, does this mean they're not using the "Greyhound Bus" logo as their 3rd jersey anymore?

Oh. How could I forget the WNBA? I've never heard of an MLS team there. I believe the MetroStars and Red Bulls always played in outdoor stadiums. The new team in NY plays at the new Yankee stadium. Would be weird to play a soccer game there, but maybe it has happened before.
