This is why I wanted LA in the playoffs. They could have had another classic series against their rivals and would have made the playoffs interesting since nobody wanted to play them. Instead of the defending champs, we got stuck with this no-name team from the North Pole that nobody should care about. I'll never forget their "Ultimate Warrior" logo. -

Glad you brought them up. Let me give you an example I know first hand. Arrowhead stadium is as loud as Seattle's stadium. They always compete for decibel level records. However, Arrowhead was an easy place to win for many years when the Chiefs sucked. Still is in many ways. In the 90's, it was the hardest place for NFL teams to play in. You know what changed about the stadium? Not a damn thing. The team got worse. -
Just don't let him sit at the end of the bench.

Ottawa's goaltending is a joke. Anderson was terrible on both goals. I feel like this team wasted a good playoff series that could have been between Boston and Montreal. Cockblockers! -

There is no such thing as a tough arena. Just a tough team. Was the JLA a tough place to play when the Wings sucked in the 80's? Is the Staples Center a tough place to win at now that the Lakers suck? No, they're not. Same thing with so many other stadiums in sports. There's nothing imposing about the Patriots' s***ty stadium, but because the team is good, it's a tough place to play. That's the way it works. -

Why would Edmonton trade next year's number 1 pick, when it's almost assured to be the top pick in that draft? -
In all honesty, would he be thrilled to go to Arizona (girls and golf aside) or Buffalo? Neither of those teams are knows as successful places where careers thrive.

Because we've never been able to land a scoring winger in the top 6. We tried with Cole, but he got hurt. We could have used him in game 3 in the 2009 SCF also. -
He was never meant to be a top pairing guy. Just like Helm or Sheahan aren't meant to be top 6 forwards. Further evidence of this team's overall lack of talent.

FYI, Brenden Morrow's first season in Dallas was 1999-00. The year after they won the Cup and the year they lost to NJ in the Finals. -
