Because it's OK to attack people who are bad. Duh. In this case, the poor Swedish chap didn't seem to deserve it, so it's a bad incident. If it's Chara, Lucic, Ott, Backes, then it's OK to do this. Free will kipwinger, free will. -

On a level of 1 to 10, with 10 being "OMG, I'm really bothered by this", how upset would you be if we signed Deveaux and he did that to Chara during the playoffs? -
We lost all those series because of hot goaltending and because our opponents played a tight checking, physical game and battled hard. This team can't do any of those things. We're a poor man's puck possession team.

Not surprising. The goaltender is the most important penalty killer, and our goaltending has fallen apart.

If we play Boston in the first round, I'm all for this. -
With the PK slipping as the season has gone on, hopefully Drew Miller will be gone from the team and replaced by a bigger forward who can actually hit and is hard to play against. If we lose both games, we'll be lucky to make the playoffs.

Hey, you came back from suspension. The faceoff issue stems from being spoiled in the olden days with Yzerman and Draper dominating faceoffs all the time.

On my team, a 4th line winger is a goon. You've basically admitted that Andersson is useless. May as well have a guy that is good at his job and putts butts in the seats.

He'll play better than Andersson, I already know that much. I think if we inserted Mark Mowers, he'd play better than Andersson.

Not sure who else I'd put Zidlicky with, but I agree on Cole and Abdelkader.

The better question is, who sits when Johan Sebastian Franzen comes back?

How have they been utilized improperly? Cole has been playing on the top lines and Zidlicky has gotten plenty of power play time. Holland has probably gotten what he wanted from those players, but the team has fallen apart. I guess sometimes a GM has to have 20/20 hindsight, which is what separates them from fans.
