Ericsson needs to grab Filppula and start pounding away. Edit. Helm came off like a douchebag there. He interfered with Callahan and then pretended to be a fighter while a ref was holding Callahan. -

Wish they did. We haven't hesitated in the past about signing old guys like Alfredsson and Madonna. I'd take Jagr over either of those players. He's giving Weiss the Mike Commodore treatment. Like I've said before, Babcock buries people faster than Triple H.

If we miss the playoffs, Babcock should go to Toronto, Holland should be fired and Zetterberg should be stripped of his captaincy. If not, then nevermind.

Like I said earlier, we were on the powerplay for so much in that game, that Pittsburgh never had a chance. Yes, it was their own stupidity and lack of discipline that did it, but it's not a game you can use as a sample. Instead, you can look to the last 10 games overall as a sample. This team doesn't look like the same team from a month ago.

I didn't say Tampa is going to win the Cup. I just said they're better than us and handle us pretty much everytime we play. The point difference exists largely because of that head to head record.

The Pens game proved nothing. This team is still useless unless they're on the powerplay. If anything, the Pens game proved that even further.

This game is so boring that I'm thinking about watching Smackdown instead. Maybe Denis Potvin could liven it up by telling his best drinking stories on the road with Clark Gillies and Bob Nystrom.
