3 on 3 is just like a shootout. You're creating a gimmick that we never see in a real game in order to manufacture a point for a team that doesn't deserve to win. I'll make it simple. If two teams play a game where neither team was good enough to win in "regular" play, plus OT, the game should end in a tie. Neither team deserves the extra point. Awarding an extra point just for the sake of it is stupid. If the casual American sports fan doesn't like that, they can go jump off in a cliff into a forest full of werewolves carrying STD's. I'm tired of changing the game to appease imbeciles.

He should be. What's he done to earn a starting job with immunity? He hasn't even gotten out of the 2nd round. If Mrazek is better than Howard, he should start. Nothing else needs to be said.

Obvious fact, but the captains of the Canadian, Russian and Swedish teams are playing in this game.

It reminds me of the St. Louis Rams, who used to wear bright blue and bright yellow, and went to more bland colors. Maybe there's some stereotype that bright yellow looks unmanly or like urine, but on sports jerseys, it looks better than what these teams normally wear. I also like the jerseys they wore in the late 90's, with the robo-Penguin. Those were cool too.

First post of the GDT. Several observances so far. 1. I had a feeling we'd respond strongly after Zetterberg called the team out. Looks like a totally different team. 2. The Pens should make these uniforms their primary ones. Real yellow looks better on a hockey jersey than bland yellow. 3. Chris "Mila" Kunitz is a little Hudler faced ***** who I've been wishing injury on for many years. 4. What the hell happened between Hornqvist and Hank? I thought Zetterberg being the Swedish captain would be somewhat more respected by his countrymen/teammates.

That's a little harsh. His playoff numbers are lower than his regular season numbers, but they're not bad enough for people to call him a choker. The issue is when his team is eliminated, he's rarely going down swinging. The Sharks as a whole have underachieved in the playoffs.
