Would any bad team be willing to trade a top pick for those guys? Doubtful. Also, the bad teams aren't Cup contenders, so Pavel and Hank would not likely want to go to those places. The mid level or Cup contending teams don't have high draft picks, so what's the point? Holland and company can make good draft picks, problem is, we don't get high enough picks to draft a Tavares or Stamkos. That's what this franchise really needs for the future. And as I stated above, it's unlikely for multiple reasons that we'd get picks that high. We're stuck with hoping that Nyquist or Tatar turn into Datsyuk and Zetterberg type players.

They'll likely squeeze Datsyuk on the team somehow. No one else remotely deserves it. I suppose if they wanted to be funny, they'd send Quincey or Cleary, but the NHL doesn't go for that sort of thing (remember Rory?)

There have been many fights (if you can call them that). Simon, Brashear, Cairns, Laraque, Parker, etc. But he's conveniently fallen down at the right moment in most of them or the fights were hugfests. He beat Koci, which might be the highlight of Chara's tough guy career. Keep in mind, these fights were before his current heyday in Boston.

Terry Sawchuk Dominik Hasek Glenn Hall Martin Brodeur? Wings have had more legendary goalies suit up than any other franchise.

Chara is and always has been a terrible spotpicker. He's lucky he's playing in today's era, where there aren't many heavyweights and there's an instigator rule.

It's because Mrazek is a good person and his teammates play hard for him.
