More like Holland. Babcock had nothing to do with Nielsen. He did overplay Glendenning, though. Not sure how much of Abdelakder getting a large contract ultimately ties back to Babcock. If those three players could magically vanish, along with the Abdelkader and Nielsen contracts, this team would be in significantly better shape. More playing time for younger players and more cap space.

The jerseys matter because I'm not listening to the game on the radio. It's hard to look at their jerseys. It's hard to imagine that their marketing department believes those jerseys and logo are anything besides garbage. Yes, it affects my ability to enjoy the game. Also, I would enjoy this series more with Washington taking Carolina's place. I had more interest in their team going forward. The Hurricanes do nothing for me. You live in the area, though, so I can understand how it's fun for locals.

About the same ratings as WWE Smackdown. I don't get the love for Carolina. Small market, God awful uniforms, fans who only go to games when they're in the playoffs. Not a team I'm excited to watch at all. Imagine a Columbus/Carolina Conference Final. The league can't be excited about that.

I mean, how many good NHL players spent several years in the minors before being called up? Not too many. The guys that spend several years in the minors don't become good NHL players often. Too many old, useless players on that list. If we're going to have veterans, they need to be players who can contribute a little and be a positive influence in the locker room. Not guys that take up roster space and eat away at the salary cap. Yzerman needs to flush Kenny's crap down the toilet ASAP.

Holland hasn't fired a coach since he let Hitler go. Back then, finishing first and losing early in the playoffs was a cardinal sin in Detroit. Blashill was never going to be fired by Holland.
