Statistically, Weiss can't play hockey anymore either. He got more icetime, on a better team, with better linemates, and still looked worse than McGrattan. A cheap enforcer was more effective than Kenny's big offseason move. -

But he never played with either Datsyuk or Zetterberg. Weiss did. Besides, the West was much tougher than the East last season. How can you say it was an easier league? Just not as good looking. -

How much of that is Lidstrom, plus a young Crosby and a prime Zetterberg/Datsyuk? I for one predicted we'd be undefeated at this stage in the season, so I'm very disappointed with the team's level of play. -

I wouldn't have. Our offensive lineup and defensive lineup were slim going into the season. Nothing that's happened this year should be surprising. This team has an average record because it has a mediocre roster. Holland has done nothing to improve the team, and will continue to do so as long as he has immunity and excuses. -
