I'm guessing you haven't watched hockey very long if you think this way. There's never been a time in NHL history when fighters had more skill than they do now. 15 years ago, enforcers who could barely skate would have a regular spot on every NHL team. Those players are largely extinct. Today's NHL has largely weeded out unskilled fighters.

Blues only act tough against teams like Detroit. They didn't want to impose themselves on Chicago physically. Maybe they were afraid of that powerplay.

It's hard to feel bad for the Blues or their douchebag fanbase. At the same time, I don't want to see Chicago win yet another Cup. I think they're well on their way.

Another early exit for the Blues. They're strictly a regular season team. Not good enough to go anywhere in the playoffs. As hard as it is to repeat, I think Chicago is still the favorite to win the Cup. They punked Boston in the Finals last year.

How much of what is happening to him is due to his "mental situation"? The Wings were guarded about that earlier this season, but something seems to be going on. Not sure what.

Montreal always tries to act tough against teams like Boston, Toronto and Ottawa, and always end up paying in the process. The Habs need to stay away from physical stuff and just play their game. However, I don't think they will. I think they'll try to fight back and get owned in the process. -
As I said in the GDT, how many points would Datsyuk score playing on a line with Miller and Glendenning, two players who arguably shouldn't be in the NHL?
