Why has that biased buffoon Mike Milbury been allowed to commentate seemingly every game in this series? It's no better than having Ed Olczyk doing the Blackhawk playoff games. With one Stanley Cup win.

The problem with that era was that Detroit, Colorado, and Dallas always had better rosters. Even in 2000 the Blues were not the favorites going into the playoffs. They had a good team in 2016, but once again, I don't see a lot of star power there versus some of the other teams. Other than Tarasenko, they didn't really have another star player.

That's true but I wouldn't say they screw it up. They never have the talent or goaltending that the other teams have. They're never deep at center and lack the superstar power. Tarasenko is good and many of their players are playing well right now, but will they get enough scoring or goaltending to go all the way?

We've been waiting so long for this. He belongs with this organization. Also, this isn't just a good sentimental story. We're getting the best GM in the league. What time is Holland's execution, BTW?

They either go deep in the playoffs or don't make the playoffs. That's their history it seems.

The NHL needs to tell Carolina that nobody wants to see them and their hideous jerseys advance. They typically play in front of 20 fans in that building. They're not good for hockey.

It depends on Columbus' attitude. The Blue Jackets will have two weeks to sit around with everyone telling them how great they are. They don't have a ton of playoff experience, so I can see that getting to their heads. A long layoff is the last thing they need right now. If they stay hungry and play with a chip on their shoulder, they can definitely handle Toronto.

Once again, that's pretty tame. I'd be saying much worse than that if the Wings finished with 62 wins and were swept out of the first round by a Columbus.

Because the Islanders haven't been relevant since the mid 1980's. David Volek ruined the entire playoffs that season. Could have been a Gretzky vs. Lemieux final potentially.

The Islanders have owned the Penguins in their playoff history. From the 3-0 comeback in 1975, to squeaking out a series against a much inferior Pens team in 1982, to upsetting an awesome Penguins team in 1993.
