These guys don't need to be fighting for whitey's amusement. Just seems wrong. Stephen A. Smith needs to step in here.

Brind'Amour probably wasn't this upset when he found out Lindros was seeing his wife. Guy looked like he was going to cry at the press conference last night.

This thread is becoming longer than any Red Wings thread on LGW this year. I hope Tampa can win a game to keep this excitement going. On the bright side, if they get swept, the 1995 Red Wings and 2003 Red Wings are officially off the hook for the most embarrassing sweep in history.

2019 Offseason Rebuild Thread, Pt. 2 - What's the Yzerplan?

That team could certainly beat the 1993 Senators in a 7 game series. -

Abdelkader on a higher line than Zadina? I think not. That defense, BTW, would be the slowest in the history of the NHL. -
The Pacific Division: San Jose, Anaheim, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Arizona, Seattle, Colorado, San Diego The Canada Division: Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Quebec City, Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa The Jagr Division: Pittsburgh, Washington, New York Rangers, Philadelphia, Dallas, Boston, New Jersey, Florida The Central Division: Detroit, Chicago, Buffalo, Tampa Bay, New York Islanders, St Louis, Minnesota, Nashville This would be better. Some of the Canadian teams may complain about travel, but let them. Carolina is gone and replaced with Quebec City. I couldn't fit Calgary into the Jagr Division, since they already have one. I replaced Columbus with San Diego, as the most beautiful city in the U.S. should have an NHL team (Panarin's girlfriend wouldn't mind it either).

We need a player like MacKinnon. He's a cross between McDavid and Laine.
-
He took his shirt off and showed why he's the ultimate butterface?
-
Why didn't that dumbass do that to Crosby all these years?
-
Ovechkin just KO'd Svechnikov in a fight. What the hell. Kid is only 19.

She's lucky her boyfriend doesn't have to root for Jimmy Howard for 10 years.

Meh. I'd be saying much worse things than that if the Wings were in this situation. Imagine getting swept in the first round in 1996 against the Jets? The sweep in 2003 was embarrassing, but people were awed by Giguere, plus the team had won the Cup the season before. Also, although they finished close to winning the Presidents trophy, they never dominated like this year's Tampa team. This is a historic choke job right now. I'm having trouble finding anything to compare it to.

They serve food in strip clubs?

If I lived in Tampa, I'd spend too much time in strip clubs to care.

If I could root for a double knockout in a fight, this would be it.

Watching Dabura and Kipwinger go at it is like listening to a promo between Roman Reigns and Randy Orton.

He's becoming radicalized.

The league should go back to 12 teams. Imagine the kind of talent each team would have. These other cities can go fap to basketball like everyone else.

I suppose Datsyuk, Zetterberg, and Franzen are the poor man's Crosby, Malkin, and Kessel. Pittsburgh doesn't have an aging Lidstrom type, though. However, they have a young goalie who has proven himself in the playoffs. Two Stanley Cups he's won. We had Jimmy Howard during those years. Wait, we still do.

I picked Columbus to sweep this series. It appears my post got deleted, though.

I hope Kadri isn't suspended just for the sake of making this series more interesting.

I met Ken Morrow several months ago. He's the head of pro scouting for the Islanders. I told him about how great their dynasty team was. I wish I'd also congratulated him on what a job they've done putting this group together.
-
What's he supposed to say? He can't hear them because of the two Stanley Cup rings in his ears?

Dumb move by Hedman. Giving the Blue Jackets even more motivation. Reminds me of the time Todd Bertuzzi told the Minnesota Wild players to get their golf clubs ready, when the Canucks led them 3 games to 1 in 2003.
