Meh. I've seen teams win with worse. I realize if we were healthy we'd be in the playoffs already, but we'd still have issues defensively and in net. Dano should be playing soon -

Maybe the teams that make the playoffs overcome adversity and kill those powerplays. Maybe those teams also don't have goalies flailing around on their back in the 3rd period in big games. That's the difference between teams that can overcome adversity and a team like the Wings that lets the littlest thing get to them. We need everything to be perfect and dandy for us to win a game. -

How many of your 1,000 posts are whining about the refs? I'm not here for anything more than fun, regardless of what people think. I'm not going to excuse Franzen, Smith or Howard by blaming the refs. As long as you have humans officiating games, you'll have error. Just like those aforementioned players commit stupid errors themselves. -

Ummm.........the last goal. I don't have to point to anything. We're giving up odd man rushes and our special teams has been soundly outplayed. We don't deserve to win this game. -

Why? The calls in the first period were bad, but as I said earlier, you have to kill those PK's. We've only had a few PK's in this game and gave up a goal each time. Some resilience we have under pressure. The 3rd goal was an odd man rush, poor goaltending, and a clueless defenseman who is way out of position and doesn't know what he's doing. -

Legitimate goal? Howard was laying on the ice like a jackass The other goals are our PK sucking. Not like we're going all game without having to kill a penalty. They would have had some eventually, whether the calls were bad or not. -

Why can't it be both? He signed on for both. Not like he's not getting paid during this time of injury. Sitting at home can heal any back injury if you have a nice couch and a hot wife. -
