Pretty much. People have become so used to our softness that they refuse to accept a player that occasionally goes over the edge. Probert wasn't known as a cheap hitter, but he did some dirty stuff in his career like every tough guy.

LOL. Howard can't even stop some scrub names Charlie Coyle. That's why we're having trouble making the playoffs this season. Our goalie can't even do a pokecheck.

If you look up the word "useless" in Webster's English dictionary, you will see a picture of Brian Lashoff. -
Holland will only sign a player of those proportions if he's soft and old (think Todd Bertuzzi). It will take a new GM and coach before we can expect power forward type players to come here.
