Pretty much. They just had the Olympics in London. They've had their share of terrorist attacks and threats.

Yeah, I guess. I forgot about him. Hard to envision anyone wanting him even for a 2nd round pick. Let alone the 1st that Yzerman fleeced Kenny boy with. -
This guy turned out fine despite many concussions. Franzen needs to toughen up.

Holland didn't even make trades when we had cap space and need. He didn't even make a trade when Lidstrom was on his last legs. If anything, we should explore the option of being sellers at the deadline. Alfie, Franzen and maybe Andersson or Kindl/Smith. -
Franzen has sadly become a vegetable. Feels like Eaves or Lilja when they were out forever. You never know when he'll come back.

I hope not. I'm starting to suspect he and Datsyuk are too committed to the Olympic cause (being captains of their country) and are trying to rest a little before the grueling competition.

For a while, I realistically thought you were talking about Bertuzzi. Shows you how bad he's been.

I didn't know Andersson would have to clear waivers. Can't they just make him a healthy scratch and wait until the next guy gets hurt (won't be long likely)?

Andersson should go before Jurco does. Helm, Zetterberg, Datsyuk and Sheahan should be the four centers when everyone is healthy. Unless that will somehow be over the cap. Not sure.

He didn't have to come that far out. He's gotta do a better job of reading the play there too. The forward was uncovered on the far side.

Eaves is a one trick pony. Even though Thomas was way out of his net on that attempt, Eaves was going wristshot all the way. Mindless fool.

There's another point lost if we miss the playoffs. Awful coaching, play and goaltending in the 3rd period.

Coming way out of his crease on the 3rd goal and giving up a terrible angle on the 4th wasn't a major mistake?

Gustavsson better win this shootout. His dumb ass is why we're in this position.

We did get badly outshot in the period, but that doesn't mean he should play like a flaming turd.

Wish our players were tough like professional wrestlers. We'd have less guys missing games because of every little thing.
