Imagine the sick feeling these referees will have when they see that replay in the room. Yikes!

These are the morons who officiate NHL games.

    LOL. Refs are clueless

Thanks Kronwall. If you weren't so crappy in your end, we wouldn't be in this position.

Yeah, but Kronwall made a crappy play and got beat. That will always be called nowadays.

Nice going Kronwall. That's the kind of stupidity we don't need from our leaders.

Fraser is one of the worst fighters in the league. Naturally, he's tougher than anyone we have in the lineup tonight.

    Kindl is a 6'3 europuss.

No one on our team will cannonball anybody. The Kings know that.

That's exactly how I would play against the Wings. A soft team with no powerplay. Just bully the hell out of them.

Howard the only one in the lineup with balls. Nice going Kenny. Other teams don't need their goalie to stand up for himself. We do.

Has anyone noticed this trend? 3 years now

Why can't all athletes be as mentally tough as those Korean fighters from "Best of the Best"? But to answer the OP's question, yes, I question how this team practices and trains to have these problems in back to back years. In 2012, we were 12th in man games lost, so it wasn't that bad. But the last two years, we're among the league leaders. It's not any particular guys getting hurt, as much as a problem that seems to rotate around. Also, it's not because we're old. Old and young guys are getting injured. Sadly, having Cleary, Sammy and Bert was supposed to help in times like these where other guys were hurt, and depth was needed. However, these old farts are useless and are making Holland look like an idiot right now.

Bleacher Report: 1 Player On Each Team That Will Have Improved Scorin

Bert is done. He looked done a few years ago, but still had a good game in him from time to time. Made it look like he still had something left. Now, he looks finished.

Would Samuelsson ever consider retiring mid-season?

Is there a team in Sweden that would want him?
  15. GMRwings1983

    Perspective?

Guys like Cleary, Sammy and Bert should have been gone seasons ago. I didn't think they'd be back this year but are. I give up on waiting for Holland to cut loose with the dead weight. As for injuries, there's plenty of teams in the league suffering from injuries and doing better than us. Also, did you ever think maybe people are panicking because we have so many injuries and have been riddled the last several seasons with them? What's to say we won't have any injuries the rest of the year? Nothing.

Buffalo Sabres unveil new third jerseys

Tonight's game on NHLN is the first time I've watched them in these jerseys. I have to say, they look even worse on TV than in pictures. The players look like ugly, winged creatures out there. Wow.

Cleary should be suspended for elbow to head

I think the talking to he's gotten here on LGW is worse than anything the league has done. People act decently in bars? Not here in the Midwest they don't.

Must have partied pretty hard in LA last night. I can't blame 'em.

Why do you keep talking about my arse so much? If our injuries last year were to less important players, why did people use injuries so much as an excuse? Or were you an exemption from those types of posts? If so, my humble apologies. Fact is, we were one of the leaders in man games lost. Yeah, they weren't to the best players, but it still shows an inability from a team standpoint to stay healthy. Now, it's the better players getting hurt. Hence, a team wide problem. I never said specifically, that Datsyuk or Zetterberg can't stay healthy every year. Just two straight seasons of being injury riddled as a team. Also, I don't remember us dominating the standings this year even when those 5 best players have been together. Of course, a lot has to do with Howard being awful this year and better last year. But injuries are an easy excuse when you have bad coaching and a mediocre lineup. Look at the two teams leading the league this year in man games lost. They don't seem to be struggling.

Anaheim is actually 2nd in the league in man games lost. Pittsburgh is first. Yet both teams have handled it well, wouldn't you say?

He fights to spark up his team. And if they didn't know he was a fighter, why sign him?

Huh? Speaking out of my arse? Last season, we were one of the league leaders in man games lost. I doubt it's much better this year. The team is fragile physically. Yeah, Tootoo doesn't seem to be popular with Babcock or Holland. I think he's done exactly what they signed him for. Did they expect him to score 20 goals or something?

Gosh, who could have envisioned that he, Bertuzzi and Cleary would be playing so poorly at the end of their careers, coming off seasons of decline?
