That was the only time Orr beat him. McGrattan is the best in the NHL right now. Our 4th liners aren't the best at anything, besides putting the JLA crowd to sleep every game.

I've heard this too many times in the last few years. It's actually true. At least seems like it. When a team is so injured every year, you know the team is either soft, the trainers suck balls, or we need someone who will stick up for our guys. -
So in other words, Downey neutered Lapperrierre. Thanks for proving our point. Also, don't forget that McCarty and King Leonidas played for us in those playoffs.

Exactly the kind of players Holland hasn't liked in the past. I'm glad he's finally drafting bigger players lately, but then he brings back guys like Sammy and Cleary when they're obviously not as effective as the young guns. -

Empty seats can't boo. The JLA always sounds like an indoor swimming pool on TV anyway, with that echoing sound.

Once again, we look like crap against a team who's facing a back to back. Tampa didn't get to their hotel room until 4:00 a.m? That meaningless thing only matters when we're playing a back to back. I know we played last night, but we were at home and didn't have to travel. It's because our team is soft, lazy and easy to play against.

Imagine how fun this show would have been years ago, if Lilja and Downey were still around? Then again, the Wings did this in 2003, back when we had personalities like Shanny, Chelios, Hull, etc. Hard to find personalities like that.
