    Cleary and Filppula could have iced the game there. This period has been pretty wild so far. Like neither team cares about giving up chances.

    Why the hell are we giving up so many odd man chances, even though we're up by one? I have to think this wide open pace favors Chicago, since they're down a goal and they want to play this style to begin with. We need to clamp down here and slow this game down.

    We need to play our best period. It'll be too difficult to keep them off the scoreboard when everything is on the line for them, so we need at least a goal here.

    Yeah, we beat Anaheim by throwing pucks on net and screening the goalie. Not from making pretty plays. This team can't afford to go back to the style that hurt us all season.

    Cleary doesn't score on chances like that. Zetterberg should have done better on his chance as well. Same shift I think. He went to the backhand for no reason.

    That's different. But if someone were to challenge him by now, he'd quiet down somewhat. I'd be running Zetterberg and Kronwall every shift too, if I knew I wouldn't have to break a sweat afterwards to defend myself. No deterrence whatsoever.
