    How many playoff games has Howard stolen in his career? It's not his fault we lost tonight, but I don't expect anything from him in the postseason besides average performances. He hasn't proven me wrong yet in 4 years.

    He's played well on the top line (who wouldn't with Pavel and Hank)But he's still a 3rd/4th line player. Losing him is not a big deal. Put Bertuzzi on the top line. He has better hands than Abby. This hardly costs us the series. They only scored one goal, so it shouldn't cost us the game either. If we can't score one goal ourselves, we didn't deserve to win this game anyway.

    Even Mike Keenan thinks he should be suspended. My only regret (besides that it probably costs us the game), is that it wasn't on Selanne's head. I'd love to see just how strong that "unusual" helmet of his is.

    And it's hard to get bodies in front of the net when Samuelsson is playing, instead of your biggest forward.

    I don't see Hiller on his ass as often as Howard is. Anaheim is more apt to go for scrums after whistles. And it's not just that. Tootoo is a good hitter and the type of 4th liner you need in the playoffs. He can bring energy on every shift. So he didn't play well in game 1. Who on our team did? Instead, Sammy is out there. Someone who isn't even a 4th liner. To play the point on the powerplay. Something he hasn't done for our team in like 4 years.

    I just think against a physical minded team, Tootoo and Bertuzzi should be in the lineup. This is the type of series we signed Tootoo for, and he's being scratched. Go figure. Why sign him then?

    I guess on the bright side, we didn't give up a goal there. Other than Franzen's breakaway, the period was a wash. Missed opportunities for both teams.

    Gives us nothing we don't already have. We have plenty of guys who can kill penalties. I'd rather have Tootoo in a series like this. And he played well down the stretch.
