It's games like this where I wish professional athletes didn't get paid when they don't show up to play. Seems only fair.

The only way to beat talent is to outwork it, combined with a hot goalie/solid tight checking defense. That's what teams like Edmonton, Anaheim and Calgary did to us in the playoffs, when we had more talent than them. Our team has no talent, but tries playing like it does. This team either needs a new identity or an infusion of talent to play a good puck possession style again. Right now, it's a team of posers with no direction.

Smith and Nyquist were supposed to be our top prospects for years. One is sitting in the box, and the other has 3 points in 23 games (where's Brad Norton when you need him?)

Is Tootoo not going to engage anyone in this game? Give the fans their moneys worth. They paid a lot to come to the dump (JLA) on Easter and watch this embarrassment to a rival team, with an annoying fanbase that's sitting in the stands jeering us right now. Send the guys out there to stir s*** up, Babcock!

We've played well defensively over the last stretch. This game has been a disaster. There better be a significant trade in the next week, or Kenny Holland should be fired after the season. Thanks for your services and best of luck in your future endeavors.
