Nyquist and Jarnkrok will need to beef up a little. Tatar should already be a regular since he plays a grittier game than those two.

Iginla has never played with anyone like Datsyuk in the NHL. Then again, you can say that about the other teams he listed. I wanted us to make this move last season, for Lidstrom's last run. Not so sure now.

Do we really need another small Euro who will be lucky not to get knocked off the puck in the NHL? I know he has good upside, but you can only have so many similar players in the lineup at the same time. I just hope they find some big wingers if they plan on calling him up in the next year or so. And don't put him on the 4th line like they do with Nyquist and others from GR.

Wings need to wake up. Howard is having to make tough saves, while Hiller is having an easy time of it.

He did trade away Kyle Quincey for a first round pick. One of the best swindles in recent memory. Also, he put together Canada for the 2010 Olympics, coming off the disastrous team they assembled for the 2006 games. I still wish he was in Detroit and ready to take over Holland's duties.

How about the Belle Tire girl/woman? She must know a lot about hockey. In any case, players would be less likely to turn her down for interviews and conversations during the game.

We're likely to be around .500 in the next 6 games, just like the whole season. Whether we make the playoffs will depend on the last two or three games, imo. That shouldn't decide whether Holland does or doesn't make a trade to improve this team's future.

I remember that game and still can't believe how shocked I was that it happened. All the fights were individual from what I remember. Meaning, they occured at different times in the game (no multiple fight scrums)

That sucks. Can't replace his goofiness. I think Cleary should take his job starting next game.

God you guys are such homers. None of those fights saw anyone get their ass handed. They were all short, uneventful fights with no dominant winner. LOL. This is what happens when you cheer for a team that rarely fights. -
