This would be my dream NHL in 10 or so years. You can even rename the divisions Smythe, Patrick, etc. Or create new names like Gretzky, Lemieux, Orr, etc.

Datsyuk doesn't score a lot of goals. He's always been a pass first guy. Datsyuk, Nyquist and a big body, would be the ideal 2nd line.

If that's true, then our top prospect has essentially no upside. But he's playing better now than ever. Doesn't matter what he's done previously in the NHL, playing on the bottom two lines for a few games.

Nyquist should be playing on Pavel's wing. If he can't fit into that role on the top 6, then we should trade him for a bag of beans. Instead, Cleary and Abdelkader are both playing on that line. Two similar players who shouldn't be getting that icetime.

His offense has been great all year and he's now finally getting pucks through from the point consistently. Defensively, he's looked like a pylon for way too many goals against. He needs to improve everything on that side of the ice.

Nobody is ripping him. People are just saying he's average and inconsistent. Ripping is if people said he sucks and is a bad goalie.

I think Howard has been average his whole career. Not just this season. I never said he was bad. His agent and Ken Holland seem to agree with me, otherwise, he'd be making Rinne money. Luongo was terrible in the 2011 Finals and poor last season. He needs more than one good month for me to think he's back to where he was before.

Not short-term stats. If you're not buying Carey Price, then I'm not buying anything.

Why is GR taking precedence over the main team? Mrazek should have started this game and McCollum can play back to back games in GR. Tough luck for them.
