Bump from several months ago. I had totally forgotten about this game, until I suddenly remembered it again today. Anyway, it was played last September over two nights. So I went online and found some pictures to share.

He's had some heart problems in the past from what I remember, but I don't know about his other health situations. Seems like everyone Holland signed this offseason has some kind of recent health or injury problems.

Kansas City will likely never get a team. Seattle is in line for a Sonics return. I don't see two sports teams going there at the same time. They'll have to see if the NBA can work there again, before inviting the NHL to move in. -

Shows you how overvalued our jobbers are around here. Several posters couldn't possibly fathom how he would clear waivers.

Next time we go up 2 goals, we should go into the 1-4 formation. "Park the bus" as they say in soccer.

Another nice thing is that our prospects are overripe in the minors, while crappier players take up their roster spots in the main lineup. Don't know if that's on Babcock or Holland, but some accountability has to go somewhere.

This is not soccer, so formations aren't flexible the same way in hockey. But if we lose 5 more games in a row, I'll be more than happy to see the Wings try this formation.

Helm wouldn't fix this powerplay. He's important to this team, but there's no reason a 3rd liner getting hurt should be the biggest loss your team takes. -
I think he was talking about what has Kenny done lately. Not what have Bowman, other GM's in the past and Kenny done with this team in the 90's.

Some of these injuries were predictable. I mean Colaicovo? That guy graduated from the Sami Salo Institute of Health. Samuelsson? He's old and was hurt last year. Bertuzzi is like 50. He's been heallthy here in the past, but the old tank has to run out of gas eventually. -

If not for injuries, we'd finish as a 5-8 seed and lose in the first round. Thanks to these injuries, we're unlikely to make the playoffs if the injury bug keeps up. -
We can trade Nyquist. Since Babcock and Holland think he's not good enough to be on this particular roster (how sad), that means he is expendable.
