So why did Holland re-sign Bertuzzi for another 2 years? Guy is only going to get worse at everything. And he's too lazy to be an effective checker if (hopefully) that's where he'll be playing next season. Just a bizarre move. -
Yeah, you could say other guys have gotten 1 game suspensions for the same type of hit. There's definitely a lot of inconsistency from Shanahan in these playoffs. He seems to have no clue what he's doing. But still, it's hard to feel bad for a dirtbag like Torres.

I don't remember what his last suspension was games wise, but this sounds about right for this idiot. He needs to be weeded out of the game or neutered, much like Matt Cooke was. We didn't hear much about Cooke this season did we?

We do need to make some moves, but it's not just about depth. Nashville doesn't have any elite scorers, yet they had no problem scoring. That's because of the stupid turnovers we kept making. We need to go back to having a solid defense which doesn't turn the puck over.

It won't be anyone with his credentials, but a change is needed. It's gotten stale with Holland. That's the point. I don't want to think he has life tenure as GM just because of previous successes. Sure looks that way now.
