I thought we outplayed them both games. We just can't have occasional lapses behind our own net, where guys get beat to the puck and then no one covers the man out front. They've already scored on several like that. Offensively, we still need to change up the lines. Datsyuk needs to get going here. I'd play him with Hank in the home games. -

Need to stop turning the puck over. And we can't keep taking penalties. You gotta think these idiots are due at some point on the powerplay. I like what we're doing offensively, though. Crashing the net as much as possible, instead of firing stupid logo hunting wristshots on a 7 foot tall goalie. -

Cleary has taken faceoffs for us in the past. Besides, like I said, Emmerton didn't take too many faceoffs last night. He hardly got on the freaking ice. You can't dress a guy just because he's a center, and then not play him, especially in a game where another center got injured. I don't understand what Babcock is doing with Emmerton.

Why does it matter if Emmerton can play center if he's hardly getting any icetime anyway? He's not exactly taking big faceoffs in his 5 total minutes out there. We can put together a 4th line with all wingers, and the center would be someone like Cleary or Miller, who are defensively responsible. Get Emmerton out of the lineup.

Our bottom six players should draw straws for who will be the one to end Weber's season with a dirty hit from behind. And Shanahan can forget about his number ever being in the rafters (not that it would have been anyway). He's suspended players all season for quick time collisions, but this obviously dirty and thought out play doesn't get a suspension. What a tool. -
