I just hope we don't travel out west again. But the odds are that's what will happen. We need to finish first, because that would likely result in Chicago and St. Louis (two hot teams) playing each other in the first round as the 4 and 5 seeds. We'd likely play the winner, which I'm OK with. Worst case scenario is having to travel out west in the first round, and then play San Jose in the 2nd round. Basically, a repeat of the last two years.

I'd put in Filppula or Franzen instead of him and Zetterberg. But honestly, we only have like 20 games left this season. We may still have a few more shootouts, but there's more pressing issues on this team than our shootout lineup.

As I've said before, my favorite Cleary play happens on the rush. He skates the puck to the half-wall, stops, and fires an aimless slapshot towards the net, which 99% of the time results in killing our rush.

Not at all. We'd just bring in Moen and Iginla for the deadline, and sign Parros in the offseason. Hardly a 75% turnover or a destruction of team chemistry, LOL.

Franzen being on the ice with the net empty in a big game, brings back bad memories. But he was on the ice because that line iced (supposedly) the puck.

I'm glad you're not our GM. We'd never make any moves ever. You would have kept Anders Eriksson most likely, because we won the Cup with him in 1998.

Wrong. We should be 4 up on Vancouver with a regulation win. Instead, we're only 1 point up.

Fixed. We should be able to beat Vancouver matchup wise.

We gave up around 45 shots. That's not good defense. We did play well offensively (thanks 3rd line), but the crappy powerplay and the pathetic point coverage cost us the game. We did indeed deserve to lose, bad icing call and all. Game could have gone either way and for once, it didn't go our way.

Like I said, we suck at blocking shots. We've already given up several great slapshots from the point here in OT. Vancouver has like 40 shots now.

Burish and Ribeiro are both little punks, and Jamie Benn is the idiot who spotpicked Kindl and ran Conklin last week. I'm surprised Steve Ott wasn't sitting with them.
