Anaheim has plenty of assets they want to trade away. A Wings/Sharks trade makes no sense. We don't want to make them better or vice versa. If the price is right, we should definitely move him, or risk losing him in free agency for nothing.

Datsyuk and Lidstrom missed like the entire series, and it still didn't go beyond 5 games. -
He almost won a Cup, since Anaheim won in 2007 and we won in 2008, and he played for those franchises in surrounding seasons.

Detroit > Chicago Chicago > San Jose San Jose > Detroit May not make much philosophical sense, but that's how I see these matchups panning out if they happen in the playoffs. Each team matches up differently with the others. -

When will the NHL stop televising these Caps/Pens games? Since Crosby has been brain-dead, these games have no luster or purpose. The league needs to get a clue. -

Them and Florida are both surprises. I thought Ottawa would be the worst team in the league this season. On paper, their roster didn't look that good.

Who in the Detroit media or on this forum would object to Datsyuk being captain because his English isn't that good? For that matter, who on the team would be upset? They seem OK with Datsyuk wearing the "A" and he leads well by example. Where are these complaints stemming from?

Just checked him out. Looks like the only guy he fights is Sami Helenius. I guess there isn't much of a market for fighters in the FEL.

I don't think so. Although he does have a son playing somewhere. My point is their desire to get another French Canadian likely had something to do with this trade. As I stated, Cammalleri had a lot of big goals for them.

Camalleri has been awesome for them in the playoffs. Can't believe they traded him just to have a guy named Bourque.

Calgary are such posers. They're not going anywhere this season, yet they're pretending to be relevant. Why don't they just cut the crap and trade Iginla already?

Ericsson is in the lineup. He beat Dorsett and handled himself well with Clowe. He should challenge Doan. Plus, Doan injured him a few years back as well with a hit. It was clean, but what the hell.

I've been saying it since the 2010 playoffs, but someone on our team needs to man up to Doan. He always runs our players and acts like some tough dude, instead of acting like a 35 year old man with a broken hip. Babcock needs to call this team out.
