Yeah, I've never seen anything like it myself. Both teams are equally to blame here. I think Laviolette was just trying to make a point, like the guys in the studio said. Certainly bizarre to see.

Yeah, Datsyuk looks like a totally different player than that beast we saw in the playoffs last season. I guess playing with lazy, unproductive teammates has taken its toll on him.

Great game by Franzen. I hope this doesn't mean he won't score again for like 8 games. Maybe Bertuzzi was just a bad influence on him or something.

I just realized why Sheldon Souray has seemingly revitalized his career. Because he's dating WWE diva Kelly Kelly. Don't know if he'll be a Norris nominee, but he should get some kind of award for this accomplishment.

Oh I know what you meant. I guess I was saying at this point I wouldn't be surprised if some more AHL enforcers went over to Russia to beat up on non-fighters. I've lost a little faith in these guys because so many of them have forgotten what their role actually is. Who knows who'll follow suit. They're getting paid money over there and they have no one to answer to.

I know he got in a scuffle with a bunch of police officers in a motel. I think he overdosed on some drugs and his heart gave out as well.

Yeah, I think people have a hard time admitting that our top 6 isn't as good as some other teams around the league. That would have been unthinkable for a long time, when the Wings were more loaded than anybody, but just isn't the case anymore.

I hope McGrattan and MacIntyre don't wind up going to the KHL. They've been moving around the minors their entire lives, so it wouldn't be a surprise. Still, if they do go there, hopefully they won't forget the code.

That doesn't seem to be a big secret among fans on fight forums. Most people seem to agree that Twist took steroids. He gained so much mass and strength after he came to St. Louis. Much more than his early days in Quebec. Other names are John Kordic and Andrew Peters. Although, Kordic had other things he took besides roids.

You guys don't know Tony Twist? One of the scariest and strongest enforcers ever to play hockey. You must not have been watching hockey for long. Many consider him the heavyweight champ back in the mid to late 90's. In fact, several tough guys have been linked to steroids in the past. I'm not surprised Laraque is taking this stance. It's not really a big secret. It is somewhat surprising to hear about skilled players who may be taking roids. That would be a bigger deal, imo.

He's gotten better at that. I may be crazy, but the Ducks may have a softer lineup tonight than the Wings. Never thought I'd say that. Ericsson, Commodore and Abby could more than handle what they've got tonight.

Isn't that a big reason for why people hate Crosby? I never said he wasn't a great player. This is certainly not the first time he's been complaining, especially in Wings games.
