Zetterberg has to shoot quicker, and not wait for the goalie to get in position and then shoot. That's why he's still among the league leaders every year in shots, but doesn't score as many goals anymore. Just takes too many bad shots.

Emmerton is earning a one way ticket back to Grand Rapids for his performance tonight. And it takes a team like Washington to truly expose our penalty killing. That needs to be fixed ASAP.

So is our goalie. That was a bad goal to give up, especially since Vokoun is making good saves on the other side. Next goal is huge in this game.

PK sucks every year because we're always last in shots blocked. The Wings just haven't caught on with the rest of the league in blocking shots. That was a high shot by Green, but still there's no threat of shot blocking, so the point man attack freely.

Is that fight tracker correct? Ericsson is 6'5 but only weighs 205 lbs? I thought he put on some weight in the offseason. He should weigh at least 220 with that frame. He better not weigh only 205.

That was a fun game to watch. Had a little bit of everything. Tomorrow should be a hell of a game. Big test for both teams.

That really sucks. I watch a lot of those channels, so this would be a big blow for me. The problem is that there are many different providers, but there's pros and cons to each. DirecTV is the best thing out there from my experience, but then s*** like this comes along.

My favorite Nazarov story is when Eric Lindros confronted him in the parking lot after a game, with teammates trying to restrain him. They should have let Lindros have his way. This was after Nazarov and Darcy Tucker jumped Daniel Lacroix during a scrum and busted him up pretty good. Like I said, though, Zhamnov is the guy who surprises me in all this. I'm not surprised Nazarov is in favor of what his team is doing.
