Well, those guys didn't sign with another team, if that's what you mean. I could argue that Yzerman should have quit after the lockout. It was great to still have him on the team, but hard to see him get injured so often and be a shell of his former self.

Second greatest American hockey player of all time. And whether you people like it or not, he should have retired last season and played his whole career with one franchise. He wasn't sure that he wanted to come back, and the indecision should have been enough for him to say no.

I think we've played against Pronger in the playoffs about six times in the last 15 years if I'm not mistaken. No wonder we all hate him so much.

I for one am proud to be a fan of a team that would never endorse such a ridiculous "no-fighting" policy. Shame on you Tampa. -
They didn't even talk about the hockey tragedy in Russia or the offseason NHL deaths. Could have at least shown some classic series, player profiles or analysis of all the free agent signings/trades. Total waste of an offseason.

Yeah, Yzerman was a best in those playoffs and it looked like Detroit was well on their way to a 3-peat. They didn't just lose the next four games, but were completely embarrassed. I feel that Dallas was a better match up for us than Colorado. Buffalo would have been no problem in the Finals either. But Colorado was the big hurdle for us. I guess I still feel bad about that year too. You weren't stressed when we were down 3-2 going back to Colorado?

There have been many nasty incidents in NHL history just as bad as Bertuzzi on Moore. What made this so bad is the result. If Moore gets up from that, Bertuzzi is not nearly as hated.

Yeah, I started a thread about that several years ago. I was surprised about it as well. He always struck me as a loose cannon on the ice. I remember him going nuts when he was a Hawk, when he went berserk in a scrum against the Leafs.

No. Keep it like it is. Nothing wrong with having just Pavel and Hank as alternates. -

Pretty sure it's real. Must have been some Leafs fan hiding in the bushes to take that picture. I remember it getting lots of heat from Leafs fans as well as some good "fat" jokes on hockey forums, including this one. -
