Our powerplay couldn't seal the deal and Howard couldn't make a big save. Those things are backbreaking, especially when Niemi is making good saves and can't be faulted for any of the goals he's given up.

I'm sick of these one goal 3rd period leads. Where the hell is Bertuzzi? Did he tire out already after actually trying in the first period?

He seems to have a knack for giving up untimely goals at all the wrong moments. That's not a good quality for a goalie.

That's what I thought last year too. It's too early to call this, but I think San Hosay may have mailed this game in before it began, figuring they'd still be up 3-1 going home.
