If I see anymore of our soft euros take the puck on their backhand and try to make some pretty play, I'm going to throw up. How about just throwing the puck on net and trying to screen the goalie? Or would that actually require some effort?

I wanted to strangle some puppies after that 4 minute powerpl.....I mean disaster. This team is just better than us, with or without the refs. And f*** Abby and Hank for taking two stupid offensive zone penalties. I'm sick of it.

We were 0-4 in OT games under Dave Lewis. In fact, we're 0-5 in OT games against the Ducks since 2000. Damn those Ducks! -
This is why I wanted Detroit to play Nashville. They just don't have any offensive talent to compete with the top teams. And scoring against Luongo is much harder than doing it against Emery.

Your so-called detailed analysis consists of nothing more than whining about each and every call. I wrote more than enough in this GDT already about my take on this game. No more analysis is really needed. We got outplayed, period. The refs helped San Jose, but we hardly deserved to win the game anyway. -

Did you watch this game. We got owned for most of the night and played uninspired. If you call that the perfect road game, then I'm glad you're not a Florida Panthers fan. -
The Pens and Ducks are out of the playoffs, so it's pretty hard to root for anyone else.

Am I the only one who thinks Howard gave up a bad goal on that first one? Instead of swallowing up that initial shot, he gave up an easy rebound right for Pavelski to bunt into the net. -
You know, the Kings had a pretty easy time scoring against San Jose, and it's not because of LA's immense talent. We need to put more pucks on that ugly idiot Niemi, and he'll give up some softies. More guys crashing the net, more screens, etc.

How about not putting Rafalski and Ericsson on the same pairing? Each time those fools were in their own zone, bad things seemed to happen.

We're all hot from the OT, but I don't expect the Wings to win when it goes to overtime. We haven't been a good OT team for a long time. Starting to look like the Dave Lewis days, when we always lost in OT. -

I don't love or hate Abby. I just don't want him to play for a while after that screwup, especially since I can envision better line combos overall where he wouldn't be missed. And I don't think he's outplayed Eaves or Miller. It really doesn't matter what you suspect or not. This isn't a detective mystery. -

And just like last year, we weren't the team scoring in the 3rd and in OT. Winning the Cup is about overcoming adversity, and we weren't good enough to do it last year. Not good enough to do it tonight either. They're just more clutch than the Wings right now. That needs to change. In fact, we had our chances, but couldn't bury them like championship teams have to do. Two great chances in OT went to s***. -

Who cares? Point is, he shouldn't be centering that line. The combos need to be split up better to give Hank and Pavel each their own line to center.
