I remember reading an interview with Ryan VandenBussche, where he admitted to frequently playing with concussions, and being afraid to tell his coaches that he had one, for fear of being a healthy scratch or fear of not being considered tough enough. Pretty sad if you ask me.

Home team wins another game 7. Montreal played hard, but they lost all 3 OT games in this series. Can't do that and still win. There will be a riot in Montreal tonight. Take your cars off the streets. Also, this means all the 6-8 seeds are gone now from both Conferences. When was the last time that happened after the first round?

Kesler is not in Datsyuk's league defensively. He'll win this because he played a full season.

Last year, the Wings couldn't do anything right in the 3rd period against San Jose. I know the officiating was bad, but Detroit couldn't get it done in the clutch. That was the opposite of what happened in 2007, when San Jose fell apart in the 3rd periods. That was the difference from last year and 2007.

I also think Mr. Overrated will win this, but only because Datsyuk missed so many games. Too bad, or else he could have tied Bob Gainey with 4 Selkes.

According to my sources, the Pens/Lightning game 7 is being delayed until Saturday, when "he who shall not be named" will be ready to play for the Pens.

San Jose couldn't easily sweep anyone. They barely beat an LA team playing without their best player. Chicago would have swept them most likely.
