I think he realizes by now that he should of retired. He wasn't entirely sure that he wanted to be back, and that should have been a telling sign to stay away. And I'm not surprised he didn't make a big stink about it. Those things don't happen very often in Hockeytown. Besides, he knows that he's not that good anymore.

What about Bryzgalov?

He gave up a softy against us in all 11 playoff games against them. That's not an overstatement either. Just look at the highlights of all our goals the last 2 playoff series against Phoenix, and there's a softy from Bryzgalov in each game.

We haven't had a long shift in their zone since the powerplay.

He didn't give up three goals in games 1 and 3.

Has our 2nd line scored a goal in this series? Might be time to put Flip on that line.

I have a really painful story about this game. I had a big test in school the following day, so I went to bed when Detroit was up 3-0 late in the third. I figured the game was in the bag. The entire next day in school, I still hadn't known that we lost the game so I felt really good about things that day. Upon coming home and watching the news and highlights that evening, I couldn't f**king believe what had happened. I remember throwing some things around my room and not talking to anyone that whole night. Ever since then, I've learned my lesson never to stop watching a late playoff game no matter what the score is. Tonight, I'll stay up till 4 if I have to.
