God I wish we were playing the Wild in the playoffs. I'd love that as well. You know Nucks fans would be s***ting their pants over having to play Chicago for a 3rd straight year. Also, I'd love to see San Jose play their playoff killers, the Anaheim Ducks. Then, Nashville and Phoenix, (the two insignificant teams with s***ty fanbases), could play each other. That leaves us with LA.

espn only talks about the same thing over and over and over again. Anytime Lebron farts in an elevator or TO opens his mouth, they'll spend all day analyzing every seemingly important detail about those incidents. It's a useless channel.

I'd love to see Killer do this more often. O'Brien must have been fearing paralysis there.

Fedorov didn't play defense long enough to compare him to Kelly playing forward and being Toronto's number one center for several Cups. Kelly for sure played both defense and forward at a HHOF level. Fedorov will likely make the HHOF as a forward, and any guess as to what he'd be if he always played defense is nothing more than speculation. Also, I know about Goodfellow, but still rate Kelly higher than anyone to play both positions. I guess I should have rephrased my post earlier about Kelly being the only one to do it, though. Bottom line is that when talking about skill, a guy that could be great at both forward and defense is astonishing, and something we never really see. How many guys nowadays could do it at a high level?

Then people around Boston and the NHL should stop acting like he's some legit heavy. They overrate the guy to ridiculous proportions, which antagonizes some fans against him even further. He's the Sidney Crosby of hockey fighters, which is why so many people hate him.

The entire Southeast Division (minus Washington) should move elsewhere.

On these boards? You should see what he gets on fight boards. He's arguably the most hated player in the league there, and he should be. Huge spotpicker.

Datsyuk doesn't rank ahead of Thornton. Thornton has had way more assists than anyone else over the last 7 or 8 years. It's not even close. Like others here, I'd also rank Gretzky and Lemieux 1 and 2. The other names have been mentioned, but I don't really know how I'd rank them after those two.

Franzen - Zetterberg - Bertuzzi Hudler - Datsyuk - Cleary Modano - Filppula - Holmstrom Draper - Helm - Eaves That's the best I could think of. Honestly, we have too many lazy floaters and invisible forwards, to put together any kind of decent combos. Even this one has multiple flaws.

How about having legit complaints and declaring that the team is dead and buried?

What about Red Kelly? Guy is the only player in league history to play at a Hall of Fame level on both forward and defense. That has to stand for something when you can do both at an elite level and is the only guy to do it that well.
