The Wings may be the only team in hockey that doesn't even have a French Canadian. I don't think we've had one since Dandenault. At least not long term. That would be more of a shocker than not having an Irishman.

I don't get the Ericsson love either. People are trying to make him sound like Lilja or something. Guy occasionally drops the gloves, but is hardly dominant and hugs frequently. He probably couldn't even beat up Patrick Sharp.

I support the players you listed, and I also support big goons who have no talent other than intimidating people and punching them in their faces. And no I don't care that those players don't skate well or score points. Just being completely honest with my feelings on this.

In the 2008 playoffs, I thought Kronwall was terrific, and was on his way to becoming a number one defensemen at some point. I don't feel that way anymore about his play. He hasn't live up to those playoffs since. Rafalski won't be around much longer than Nick, so we'll definitely have to think about getting another top notch defensemen in the near future, with our top pairing retiring.

It could be worse. The Superbowl will have the Black Eyed Peas performing. Unless that Fergie chick gets naked (which she won't), they're hardly any better than Clay Aiken.

Probably Crosby. It's hard to even mention his name or laud his talent, without someone immediately telling you how much they hate him. Then the whole thread turns into a Crosby thread.

What upsets me more than anything, is when Janssen hits Kronwall with a cheapshot, or Kostopoupus injuring Stuart, and no one does anything about it. These guys are supposed to be friends and teammates, yet they don't do a good job of standing up for each other in those situations. I know that wouldn't change the outcome of those injuries or games, but it'd be nice to show some ******* backbone in those scenarios and go after the guy who did it. I think that probably upsets guys like Lindsay and Kocur more than anything else.

They should have the "big four" play. Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax.
