I'm not North American, although I do prefer that style of hockey. The Euro game isn't working tonight, because our opponents aren't playing the same s*** we are. They're actually going to the net and trying to score on rebounds and such.

This is what happens when you have a team full of soft Euros who are trying to make pretty boy plays, instead of shooting the puck at the net and crashing it. Completely lazy effort and way too many cute plays. And Eddie Olczyk doing our games is getting ******* old. He always talks about subtle interference, but he subtly hates the Wings.

Sadly. Other teams go to great lengths to prevent our point men from getting shots through. However, the best we can do is get a stick in the shooting lane. That's not good enough. Our players need to start going down on the ice to block some shots.

Do the Wings forbid their players from going down on the ice to block shots? I think we're last in the league again in that category. Like we seem to be every year.

Zetterberg has to elevate the puck. He used to have a deadly wrist shot. Now, we rarely see it.

Don't know about the NHL, but that Sugdon/Gratton/Verot line seems to be doing pretty well in the KHL. Teams rarely dress true heavies enough to consistently play them on the same line with other enforcers. Just the way it is now in the NHL. If a heavy plays, some other tough guy sits in his place.

It's always funny when a Blues player gets hurt, but this one in particular is downright hysterical.

I say he's still a bum. Those points aren't really that impressive considering how he's played a lot of minutes with star forwards as his linemates. He should actually have more points. Eva is already preparing such a thread for Hudler, once he gets traded.

I believe Schneider was the last Wings defenseman with a hat trick. Didn't know it was Lidstrom's first career trick. That's pretty awesome.

For once this season, Hudler didn't look useless. He actually had a great game, and probably had more chances than anyone else on the team. Hopefully, it carries over and he can start finishing those chances.
