It'd be nice if Zetterberg could come anywhere near his 2008 level of play. Guy plays well every other game seemingly. Sometimes, not even that. He's got too much talent to go invisible so frequently.

This could be a good thing for the NHL. A black superstar hockey player in one of America's major cities. Also, LA has a good team that may challenge for the West. Obviously, Iginla isn't getting any younger, but from a marketing standpoint, the NHL would love to see him leave Calgary.

Hudler may be like Ville Leino, in the sense that he needs to go to a different team. He's just not a good fit here. You think he would be being a small, skilled euro, but just like Leino, he needs to toughen up and play with different players that will complement his game better.

Goalies are better now than they've ever been in terms of schooling. That makes it even more obvious that the league needs to mandate goalies to wear less equipment. Protection is one thing, but this s*** we see nowadays is taking it too far.

Hey, Holmstrom's fat ass is responsible for about half of Lidstrom's career points. Although I guess in that situation he didn't really need to screen the goalie, who was already moving side to side.
