Depends on how healthy the rest of the team is. Doesn't help him that Rafalski is hurt, since that's his partner back there on the PP. The flip side of that, is that he seems to be shooting more on the PP with Rafalski out. Hence he's scoring more points. Maybe it's all a coincidence since it's so early into the season.

Good to see him actually expending some energy for a change.

I'd sit Miller, who isn't better than Abby. Doesn't mean he won't play again this year, because there's always injuries and stuff. I expect Babcock to split up the bottom two lines in some way. Hudler and Modano are both too lazy to be playing together. Cleary should play with Helm, which would be two really good energy players that can cause havoc together. Cleary's energy is useless when he's playing with Hudler and Modano, who are not working hard enough. Maybe Hudler could be the winger on that line, since he and Helm played together before.

I'd like to see him in the lineup as well. He's the best checker we have and I haven't seen guys out there flying around and trying to smash the opponents into the boards. We could use his energy for the times when this team looks unmotivated. We have a great record, but it's not because our bottom two lines are perfect. Far from it.

I can't wait for this "piece of s***" to join our team.

Best game our top line has played this season. If our top 6 continues to play like this, we'll be pretty hard to beat. Defense is still playing poor, and it's not just the injuries. Can't keep giving away such easy chances.

I also think the 3rd line should be split up. So many posters sounded idiotic in the offseason when I tried to explain to them how Modano and Hudler aren't typical 3rd liners and won't mesh well in that role. People think this is a video game, where you can just stack a roster full of scorers. Amazing tip by Hank.

I'm surprised how small the suspension is, considering how players have been suspended for much more in player vs. player interactions. You'd think attacking a fan for no reason would get treated more severely than a cheapshot on a player.
