We need more people going to the scoring areas like Phoenix is doing right now. Too many harmless shots in that period. Only time anyone crowded the net was on the powerplay.

We've become master experts at giving up goals in the first and last minute of a period. This reminds me of the playoffs last year, where Fenix constantly scored on us off faceoffs. s***ty end to a decent period.

I wish we'd go back to using the 3rd line as a checking line, like we did back in the day. That way, Pavel and Hank wouldn't have to always play against the other teams' best players, occasionally having to sacrifice their offensive numbers to do so.
