Can't Williams and Lebda be forced to hand Lidstrom some money contractually? That way we can pay Lidstrom like 3 million a year, and those guys will be forced to chip in some of their salary on top of that.

I guess every person can find a different thing to piss them off as far as players on a different team. Kane - Punched an old cabdriver. Annoying mouthgard. Looks like some little midget twink. Bufflin - Fat Albert. Acts tough but hardly fights. Backs away a lot for a guy that size. Has cheap shots. Celebrates disrespectfully like a dumb clown. Hossa - Traitor. Did s*** for us during that one night stand. Kopecky - See above. Sharp - Speared Lidstrom in the nuts. No I don't care that it was supposedly an accident. Campbell - Ginger boy who's overpaid. Spouted off about the Kronwall hit, despite having a similar one in the playoffs several years back. Ladd - Don't like his face. Looks like a psycho who kills people. May have DT's. Eager - Wannabee enforcer. Don't they call charging or boarding anymore in the NHL? I just hate the uniform more than the players wearing it. With Chicago, I hate both. I don't have a problem with the Flyers fanbase as much as Chicago's. With the players, I slightly hate the Hawks players more.

What I meant is that with Crosby he could put up the best numbers of his career year after year. That 2008 playoff was the best he ever had by a mile.

You guys do realize that Hawks fans despise the Wings more than any other team. I doubt they've rooted for us in any of our SCF matchups. Why should we root for them? What the hell kind of fans root for their rivals, who hate them in return and say "Red Wings Suck" at every game, even when we're not playing? And who cares about Pronger already? You hate him more than our biggest rivals in the Conference? And I say there's plenty of despicable Hawks players. Kane, Bufflin, Kopecky, Hossa, Campbell, Eager. I hate these rejects just as much as the Flyers cast of a-holes.

I know. I hate about 15 players on these two teams. However, it's hard to hate the Flyers as much as the Hawks and their annoying fans. I haven't had to deal with Flyers fans, them being in a different conference. Their fans are bandwagoner retards who don't deserve a Cup. He's never been known as a clutch performer. They have so much talent on their team, that they can succeed even with him playing like crap. It's a shame he's going to win the Cup after being a no show for 2 straight playoff runs. Should have stayed with the Pens and played with Crosby. That seemed to work well for him. In fact, he could be a 60 goal scorer if he stayed with Cindy.

We have better centers than him and are loaded at that position. Besides, he's not in the same class of player offensively as most of the guys you mentioned. A superstar center can get away with being bad defensively. Hudler is not a superstar. As for guys like Antropov, they're a joke, so let's not compare him to anyone like that. That's not what we need.

My gut tells me that he'll retire. If he was coming back, he'd probably have decided it already unequivocally. I've never wanted to be more wrong about anything as much as this, but I just don't feel good about this.
