Expectations change as the year progresses. When the season began, people were expecting a lot. Then with injuries, we were just trying to make the playoffs. However, after the Olympics and once the playoffs began, expectations had to be much higher than being 4-6 in the playoffs. So you expected us to miss the playoffs during the Olympic break, but how about once the playoffs began?

This team had the best record in the league after the Olympics and looked unbeatable. So no, we're not expecting too much. These players are not playing like they did a month ago. The intensity and urgency aren't there, despite having the same talent level with the injured players returning. We're 4-6 in these playoffs. We all deserved to expect more.

No kidding. ******* idiot didn't play the pass very well, considering how Thornton is a guy that always passes in that situation. Imagine if that was Lidstrom playing that 2 on 1.

Is there any D-man in the league that plays a 2 on 1 as incompetently as Rafaslki does? If Lidstrom was the guy in that position, it would have turned out differently. Not a coincidence that the last two GWG's in this series occured with Rafalski on a 2 on 1.

No. When someone goes up 3-0, it's over. People thought the same thing in 2003, when we had all those Hall of Famers and the Ducks had s***. In this series, we've just been outplayed by a hungrier team and a more talented team apparently. Even worse than 2003 as far as odds go.
