Where's my boy Mindfly at?
-
Want me to text message Lilja?
-
This team just has no consistency. Same with Howard. They either play a great game or a s***ty game. Nothing in between.
-
Wait, what is this Moore incident that everyone speaks of?
-
I like Brooks Laich. He and I were born on the same day in the same year. He's the only person I know (famous or not famous), that I can say that about.
-
Doesn't Chicago have injuries on defense and they have a goalie that looks shaky? I think Vancouver is a more complete team at this point. If Luongo gets outplayed by Niemi, then he's as overrated as Sandra Bullock. I don't want to hear about how great Luongo is if he loses this series. Also, Sammy owned the Hawks last year. As for Montreal, the sun only shines once on a dog's ass. No way can they get outshot 50-15 in every game and hope to win again. Halak can't be that good.
-
Ovechkin played the same way in this series as he always does. Those shots that he couldn't score on are the same shots he always scores on in the regular season. Statistically, it's the other players who choked and didn't help him out. They're supposed to be one of the most offensively gifted teams in the league, yet they looked like a one man team in this series. The other guys choked more than he did. In the end, he was their best player.
-
Nevermind. I want to take back what I said. Both Chicago and Montreal will lose in the next round imo.
-
I do. He's more playoff proven than those guys.
-
I picked every series correctly except for the Wash/Montr one. I thought this would be the easiest series to pick.
-
Hey, that's my wife you're talking about there!
-
I just know that jobber Halak won't play this way against the Pens. For some idiotic reason, they have been chosen by a higher power to have the easiest path to winning the Cup. They'll probably win it again this year with their two worst matchups out of the playoffs already.

Washington looks about as confident as me about to fight Chuck Norris. This team is a joke.
-
I get what the first sentence meant, but what does the second one say? Sorry, but my knowledge of French only stems from watching Bardot movies. I usually just stare at her and don't read the words unless she cusses.
-
Merde! How's my French?

Why do other NHL teams' fans hate the Wings?
GMRwings1983 replied to FischersChick2's topic in General
Because all the calls always go our way. They think Bettman has it made for us. -
Kronwall has been playing worse than a B. Also, Howard has had some bad games in the series, so I'd give him a B. Remember that this went 7 games and not 4. Otherwise, everything else was a fair assessment. It'll be nice to see the 3rd line actually produce something offensively. Babcock thinks they have great chemistry, but it hasn't amounted to much for a while now.
-
Well, every backup goalie is officially dressed for the game, so the answer is Yes. Otherwise, backup goalies would never get their name on the Cup.
-
I like the "Domi squirt" better.

There's always next year, and you can be sure that Lilja took note of what happened. Enjoy s***ting your pants all summer Yandool.

Lester B. Pearson Award renamed - Lindsay!
GMRwings1983 replied to VladyIBELIEVE16's topic in General
I'm very surprised that Ted Lindsay is the first guy they'd rename an award for. I figured they'd call it the Wayne Gretzky or Mario Lemieux award, since they won it so many times. -
I actually think Datsyuk was our MVP. He scored a lot of points as well, but was a beast defensively and had those big goals in game 7. He also had a lot more to prove than Hank, since he's had some bad playoff performances here before. So I give the MVP to Datsyuk. He was everywhere in this series.

Who cares what chicken-s*** Ray Ferraro said?
-
Howard should kiss her.

I'm very proud of the way the team played today. I didn't know how it would turn out, but I certainly didn't foresee a cakewalk like this.
