Funny how no one thought Ottawa could score goals in this series. Instead, their offense has been great, but the defense and goaltending has let them down.

You should have paid more attention to the regular season. The Flyers went 5-1 against New Jersey. They have their number. Pens were owned by Jersey this season, so this is great for them. Kovalchuk had a good playoff. The bust was the guy with the big bust in net. Brodeur at this point in his career is a playoff choker.

So will Jersey gut their team in the offseason after choking in the playoffs yet again? Like I've been saying for years, without Stevens, Niedermayer and Rafalski, and that "trap" style of hockey, they can't win s***. Brodeur has taken too much credit for winning Cups, when the credit should mostly have gone to their boring system of hockey. Since the lockout he and their team have been a joke in the postseason. Oh and I've officially given up trying to predict the Col/SJ series.

Coyotes fans caused their team to be bankrupt (by not going to the ******* games until the playoffs every 8 years), and they're saying that someone else is an embarrasment to the NHL. -
He should win. He's more important to his team than those players and has had a better season imo. I don't know if he'll win it, though. I doubt it and think Myers will probably be chosen.

I figured one of the smaller Russian teams would fold. Not Moscow Dynamo. That's what they get for handing out those monstrous contracts. Like WCW once did.

You forgot to mention the real reason they're losing this series. Their goalie sucks! They have actually scored a lot of goals in this series. More than I thought they would. They just can't keep the puck out of the net.

I did. Every series in the East is going exactly how I thought it would. No series in the West is going how I thought it would. I picked both the Bruins and Flyers to win.

How did Buffalo and New Jersey finish so high in the East? These teams are soft and afraid to compete.

Buffalo is getting owned right now. They look completely disinterested in winning. They better hope for a quick strike goal or something like that. No sustained pressure whatsoever.

Should have never gotten rid of Alexei Yashin. If they had just waited a few more seasons, he would have taken them to at least 2 Cups.

Yes. The Caps are the only team that can beat them if Jersey goes down (Jersey has owned the Pens this year). Flyers would have lost to the Pens anyway, but it would have been a tougher series with those 2 players in the lineup.

I think Richards is the biggest ***** of the three, so he'll probably get the award. And anyone who disagrees is in the same boat.

Anything is more exciting than the boring NBA playoffs, where the higher seed wins every damn series.

Pittsburgh has a s***ty record against the Devils. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh owns the Flyers and have shown so in the playoffs in the past. If Jersey goes down, that's a win for the Pens.

It could have been worse. There are far worse things he could have said that may have been overheard.

They have been a dominant regular season team year after year. They seem to finish 2nd or 3rd every year, and everyone raves about how great Brodeur still is. Then when they lose in the first round, no one criticizes Fatso or their team as much as they should. They get a free pass for winning the Stanley Cup with a different group of players than what they have now.

There goes Brodeur again sucking in the playoffs. Why doesn't anyone put the Devils in the same boat as San Jose? I know their franchise has won Cups before, but that was with different teams. This group are playoff chokers. He and Matt Cooke once played on the same line in Vancouver. They learned a lot from each other.
