I was talking about the team in general, and no just today. We must be the smallest team in the league as far as the 3rd and 4th lines go. It'd be good to get guys like Williams and Meech off those lines and to replace them with bigger forwards who can actually wear the defense down instead of floating around aimlessly.

We need to get some bigger forwards on our bottom two lines in the offseason. Too many guys around 6'0 or less out there who don't know how to check. I mean, what the hell are Williams and Meech doing playing on checking lines? Can't wait till the playoffs so we can call up someone like Abby or May who are actual checkers. Also, Cleary's return should help.

Point is that he shouldn't have been that open to begin with. It was a good shot, but you can't really blame Howard for not stopping a guy that was skating in on him unabated.

Don't know what's so funny about that. There was no reason for two guys to go after the puck and for Kronwall to be standing on the other side of the ice. The forwards just need to take the D-men there.

How can you give up such an easy 4 on 4 goal? When it's 4 on 4, you basically play man to man defense? How hard is that to figure out?

Good to see mindfly back to normal. He's like Triple-H. Just doesn't look right trying to play a good guy.

Our inability to clear pucks has cost us two goals here. That's the key to the game so far. That and the ******* TRAP.

Still pisses me off. That is my biggest disappointment as a Wings fan, and it's pretty hard to top it.

San Jose usually makes it past the first round. It's the second round that always does them in. These teams met in the first round several years ago, with the Sharks winning.

Not 100% sure, but I seem to remember hearing about it several times throughout the years. Maybe only one of the teams didn't get a penalty, or maybe it wasn't in 2001. If only eva was here, he could clear this up for us.

It was Detroit and Colorado from what I believe. I think that was the only non-penalized game in league history. I figured you guys would be able to remember that since the Wings were one of the teams involved.

Ericsson's weight is truly embarrassing. No reason for him not to weight at least 220.

Nobody is saying Rafalski is no good and can't score. I'm just saying that no one wants their 35+ year old D-man turning pucks over and being caught out of position like a rookie. The one thing that isn't supposed to get worse with age is hockey smarts. Rafalski still makes too many bad mistakes defensively, when he should have aged out of that with experience. I don't think it's fair to blame Stuart and Lilja for making a few casual mistakes, but not bringing Rafalski's name up.

I wasn't worried. I knew that if those two got injured, Meech and a returning Maltby would more than fill their spot on the roster.

Lilja is singlehandedly responsible for the team's turnaround, yet he gets called out. If you're going to blame anyone for screwing up defensively, blame the $6 million dollar man Rafalski, who has not gotten any smarter in his own zone with age and maturity, like players are supposed to get.

You can do it mindfly. Actually, that makes me feel like a nerd. I need to get a job real soon, or else I'll have a 3.9% chance of being a somebody. So wait, does this mean I can become a mod now? Or do I get a free lifetime supply of chocolate, like in Willy Wonka?
