Boy, 3 powerplay chances and no goals to show for it. This now means Minnesota will be due a few PP's at least. The guys in the slot seem to have no clue as to what to do. I miss having Hull, Fedorov and Shanny out there as one-timer threats from the slot.

Wow, Rob Ray got fat. He always looked skinny when his jersey came off (in every fight). He's got nothing on Brett Hull or Charles Barkley, though.

Just got back from happy hour. Good to see the Isles win. If we win tomorrow (and we better), Calgary is pretty much done. The other seeds I don't care about. Even if you have a preference for who we should play, there is no telling who will finish where 1 through 4. So f*** LA and Nashville. I don't care if they finish ahead of us. Even if we play them head to head, home ice advantage to them doesn't scare me either.

s***, I thought Calgary was supposed to have a tough schedule late in the year. That doesn't look tough right now. It'd be nice if the Isles play the same way against Calgary as they did against us. 5-0 Islanders.

Calgary could finish with like 97 points and miss the playoffs, which would be very strange, but yeah, we should hit 100 points, barring a collapse in the stretch.

When he first came into the league, Datsyuk already had tremendous moves and balance with the puck. Flip is still too wild out there with his stickhandling and falls down way too much. He needs to work on his balance a bit better. He has a chance to get better if he shoots more, but I don't see him scoring around 100 points in back to back years. Datsyuk is a rare player. -
How come you didn't post that last week when that line was invisible for like 5 games straight after being put together?

So why is the West better? The talent is similar and the travel is better in the East. Doesn't make sense to me, but it's true nonetheless.
